CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19) UPDATE
Florida A&M University and the College of Education (COE) are closely monitoring the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. The University and School remain open for business even as we carefully observe federal and state safety and health protocols. The administration, faculty, and staff in the College of Education have been working around the clock to implement processes that will enable student success.
As you are aware, we have transitioned to online teaching and learning for the remainder of the Spring Semester 2020. Administration, faculty, and staff are currently working remotely to accomplish the many activities to make certain that COE is continuously ‘on the move.’ We encourage students to communicate directly with their professors and academic advisors. Also, when completing Spring Semester and preparing for Summer Semester, check the FAMU Registrar’s website for important information related to student matriculation.
In conclusion, please remember to follow health protocols and advisories as you go about your day-to-day lives. And, regularly check your FAMU email and visit for updates.
Your health and wellbeing are our top priority.
Due to ongoing precautions stemming from the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) we are currently considering alternative options for our Spring Commencement ceremonies. Updated information regarding our commencement activities will be available soon.
